Privacy Policy

Senseer ("Senseer", "we", "us") operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website only. Data processed inside Senseer products under a customer contract is governed by that contract, not by this policy.

Information we collect

Information you submit through the site

Demo requests. Name, work email, organization, country, role, organization type, product interest, and any message you include.
Datasheet requests. Name, company, email, phone, and which sensor you asked about.
Job applications. Name, email, phone, location, links you provide, your CV, and any later correspondence in that conversation.
Email you send us. Anything you choose to write to us, including replies to our messages.

Information collected automatically: our own page counter

Every page view is recorded by a counter we run ourselves, on our own infrastructure. It is deliberately built so that it cannot identify you.

What it records: the page address, the country and region your request came from, whether you are on a desktop, tablet or phone, the domain that linked you to us (the domain only, never the full address or any search terms), and any utm campaign tags in the link you followed.

What it does not do: it sets no cookie, writes nothing to your browser storage, and reads nothing from your device. Your IP address and browser user-agent are used only in memory, to derive the country and to compute a visitor count, and neither is written to our database.

To count visitors rather than page views, we compute a one-way hash of your IP address and user agent combined with a secret that changes every day. Because yesterday’s secret no longer exists, yesterday’s hash cannot be matched to today’s. This is intentional: we can tell how many people visited on a given day, and we cannot follow anyone from one day to the next.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded at all.

Google Analytics: only if you agree

If you accept analytics cookies, we also load Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser and sends information about your visit to Google, which may process it outside the European Economic Area. It is not loaded at all unless you consent, and you can withdraw at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which removes your consent record and stops it loading again.

Email delivery and engagement

For email we send you — a confirmation, a datasheet, or a message about a job application — our email provider records whether it was delivered, whether it was opened, and whether a link in it was clicked. Opens are detected with a small invisible image, and links are routed through a tracking redirect. We store the event, the time, and which link was followed. We do not store the IP address or user agent that our provider reports alongside those events. We rely on legitimate interest here: knowing whether a candidate received and read a reply is how we avoid leaving people waiting on mail that never arrived. If you would rather not be measured this way, most email clients can be set to block remote images, and you can ask us to stop by writing to contact@senseer.ai.

Preferences stored on your device

A small number of choices are stored in your browser’s local storage so the site behaves the way you asked: your accessibility settings, your display preference, and your cookie choice itself. These stay on your device, are not sent to us, and are considered strictly necessary because they exist only to carry out something you asked for.

Why we process your information

To answer you. Responding to a demo, datasheet or contact request, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.
To assess applications. Reviewing candidates and corresponding with them, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering an employment contract.
To understand how the site is used. Our own aggregate page counter, on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the site — an interest we have balanced by making the data unable to identify you. Google Analytics, on the basis of your consent.
To keep the site up and safe. Bot protection, rate limiting and error monitoring, on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the service available and free of abuse.
To meet legal obligations. Including export-control and record-keeping duties where they apply.

Cookies and similar technologies

We ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary. The banner offers "Accept all" and "Reject all" with equal prominence, and a "Manage" option to choose per purpose.

Strictly necessary. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and the local-storage entries described above, including the record of your cookie choice. These are exempt from consent because the site cannot provide what you asked for without them.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 only. Off unless you switch it on. Our own page counter is not in this category because it stores nothing on your device and therefore does not require consent — it is described above so you know it exists.

Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer; withdrawing is exactly as easy as consenting.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We use the following processors, each under contract and only for the purposes above:

Vercel. Website hosting and delivery, and privacy-friendly performance measurement.
Neon. The database where submissions and site statistics are stored.
Vercel Blob. Storage for files you upload, such as a CV.
Resend. Sending and receiving email, and the delivery and engagement events described above.
Google Workspace. Our own mailboxes, where messages to us are received and read.
monday.com. The CRM where enquiries and applications are tracked by our team.
Cloudflare. Bot protection on the forms.
Google. Google Analytics, only where you have consented.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.

How long we keep information

Form submissions and applications. Up to 12 months from submission, then deleted automatically, together with any CV and message thread attached to them, unless we have an ongoing relationship with you or a legal reason to keep them longer.
Site statistics and email delivery events. Up to 400 days, then deleted automatically.
Correspondence in our mailboxes. For as long as needed to deal with the matter and to keep a reasonable business record.
Google Analytics. According to the retention period configured in that service.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy. Access to submissions is limited to authenticated Senseer staff, sign-in is passwordless and email-based, and uploaded files are validated by type and size before being accepted. No system is perfectly secure, but personal information is kept to the minimum needed and deleted on the schedule above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to withdraw consent you have given, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Write to contact@senseer.ai and we will respond within the time the law allows. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because our page counter cannot identify you, we are unable to locate "your" rows in it — there is nothing in it that is linked to you. That is a consequence of designing it not to track you, rather than a refusal to help.

Children

This site is intended for professional and organizational audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and the date above. Where the change concerns something you consented to, we will ask again rather than assume.
